Cosmetic Brow Tattoo: Pre-Existing Tattoos or CorrectionsIf you have previously tattooed eyebrows, there are important factors to consider before booking a cosmetic brow tattoo. Here are the main concerns when working on pre-existing tattoos: 1. Limitations on Creative Freedom: - I cannot undo what has already been done. While I will do my best to re-work the shape and correct the color, I must work within the boundaries of your existing shape. This limits my ability to create a fully customized brow design. 2. Pigment Absorption Issues: - Scar tissue from previous tattoos, microblading, or tattoo removal can affect pigment absorption, leading to unpredictable results. 3. No Guaranteed Results: - Due to the complications that arise from working on pre-tattooed brows, I cannot guarantee the final results. It’s important to understand this risk before proceeding. 4. Fading Requirement: - Your previously tattooed or microbladed eyebrows must be at least 60% faded or barely visible for me to work on them. If the existing tattoo is too dark, a correction may not be possible. Approval Process: Before scheduling a treatment, you MUST get approval by submitting photos of your eyebrows: - Photo Requirements: - Take pictures of your eyebrows from the right side, left side, and full-face. - Ensure your face is clean and makeup-free. - Have someone assist you in taking the photos to ensure clarity. - Use natural lighting (no selfies, indoor lights, or flash). - Submission: - Send your photos via WhatsApp or email to hola@debibrows.com. I will review them to determine if I can work with your previous tattoo and let you know if you're approved. - Booking: Once approved, book your appointment under Touch Up --> New Client: Touch Up. Please ensure that your previous permanent makeup has been approved before scheduling. Important: If you arrive at your appointment with existing permanent makeup that was not disclosed or approved, I will be unable to proceed with your treatment. In this case, your deposit ($50) will not be refunded. Many previously tattooed brows cannot be covered or corrected, so pre-approval is essential. Thank you for your understanding.

That is why the touch up is required. MUST AVOID: ➡ Retinoids, serums, chemicals ➡ Chemical peels, facial scrubs, laser rejuvenation, microdermabrasion and others. ➡ Anti aging creams ➡ Direct sun, use sun block ➡ Smoking. ➡ Skin treatments, tell your beautician about your permanent makeup

Lips & Eyes: Can Permanent Makeup Hide or Cover my Scars?Yes, permanent makeup (PMU) for lips and eyes can often help to conceal or enhance areas with scars. Here’s what you need to know: For Eyeliner: Scar Coverage: PMU eyeliner can effectively camouflage minor scars or imperfections around the eyes. The pigment can help blend scars with your natural skin tone, making them less noticeable. Consultation Required: For optimal results, a consultation is essential to assess the type and location of the scar. This allows us to tailor the treatment to achieve the best coverage and aesthetic outcome. For Lip Blush and Lip Liner: Scar Concealment: PMU lip blush and liner can help mask scars on the lips, including those from past injuries or surgeries. The pigment can create a more uniform appearance and enhance the overall look of your lips. Pre-Treatment Assessment: Scarring, especially if it’s recent or raised, can impact how well the pigment adheres. A consultation is crucial to evaluate the scar and determine the most suitable approach for effective concealment. Important Considerations: Scar Type: Scars that are keloid or raised may not be ideal candidates for PMU, as they can affect pigment absorption and appearance. No Keloid or Fresh Scars: Keloid scars or fresh scars are not suitable for PMU treatments. They can affect pigment absorption and lead to unpredictable results. It is essential to wait until scars are fully healed and less raised before considering PMU. Consultation: Always schedule a consultation before booking your PMU appointment. Lips and Eyes: Pre Care (Before)PRE CARE ADVICE: When preparing for a permanent makeup (PMU) procedure like lip blush, liner, or eyeliner, proper pre-care is essential to ensure the best results and a smooth healing process. Here are some tips for each type of PMU: General Pre-Care Tips for All PMU Procedures: 1. 24-48 hours before your appointment, avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, ibuprofen, and other blood-thinning medications (if possible). Blood thinners can increase bleeding and affect pigment retention. 2. No Retinols or Exfoliants: 3. Hydrate and Moisturize 4. Avoid Sun Exposure: 5. No Waxing or Threading: Lip Blush / Lip Liner Pre-Care Tips: 1. Exfoliate Gently: Start gently exfoliating your lips 2-3 days before the procedure to remove dead skin. Use a lip scrub or a soft toothbrush. 2. Moisturize:Keep your lips well-moisturized in the days leading up to your appointment. Dry, cracked lips can affect how the pigment adheres. 3. Cold Sore Prevention: If you're prone to cold sores, take antiviral medication (like Valtrex) 48 hours before and after the procedure to prevent a breakout, as lip trauma can trigger cold sores. 4. No Filler or Botox: Avoid getting any lip fillers or Botox at least 2-4 weeks before your lip blush appointment to allow proper healing and ensure the best results. 5. Avoid using any new lip products, especially matte or long-wear lipsticks that can dry out your lips in the days before your appointment. Lip Blush Additional Notes: - Do not have lip injections for at least a month before your lip blush procedure. Freshly injected lips may not take the pigment properly. - Avoid biting or picking your lips before the session to avoid trauma to the area. Eyeliner Pre-Care Tips: 1. No Lash Extensions or Lash Lifts: Remove any lash extensions at least 3-4 days before the procedure. Avoid lash lifts or tints for at least a week beforehand. 2. No Eye Makeup: Come with clean eyes, free from mascara or eyeliner. Avoid using eye creams or oily products on your eyelids. 3. Contact Lenses: Do not wear contact lenses during the procedure. Bring your glasses if needed, as you may not be able to wear contacts immediately after the session. 4. Eye Sensitivities: If you have sensitive eyes, consider using soothing eye drops in the days leading up to the procedure to minimize irritation. Eyeliner Additional Notes: - Avoid applying any heavy eye makeup for at least 48 hours before your eyeliner procedure to prevent irritation and ensure the pigment can be applied smoothly. Before All Procedures: - Arrive Well-Rested and Hydrated: - Make sure you have eaten and are hydrated. A good night’s sleep and being well-hydrated will help with comfort and healing. - Plan for Aftercare: - Ensure you have everything you need for the aftercare process, like healing balms, and plan for downtime if swelling occurs. By following these pre-care tips, you’ll set yourself up for the best possible outcome with your permanent makeup procedure!

Lips and Eyes: Post Care (After)..AFTERCARE ADVICE: - First Day: Lightly pat lips with Kleenex or paper towel, every 1-2 hours - First 5 days: Lightly wash lips with gentle soap. - First 7 Days: Apply aftercare given (tattoo butter, Hustle Butter, or any other preferred aftercare) If you are prone to cold sores they may or may not have a breakout. It is HIGHLY recommended that clients that are aware of their propensity of getting cold sores go to their physician and get medication 4-7 days before procedure. - Swelling for the first day or so is NORMAL. - Peeling is NORMAL, if they pick their lips will look patchy. - Touch ups are HIGHLY recommended; we would even go as far as to say they are required in order to get the best results out of the service. - Healing can take 2 weeks but in most cases within 7 days. - No hot liquids on lips, makeup application or oral sex can be performed during healing. - For oral sex client will have to wait 2-3 weeks till lips are completely healed, some even recommend longer. - They heal 30-50% lighter and some cases even 60-80%.
